Proposal - Career Assessment Services for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible Youth, Adults and Dislocated Workers residing in the Central, Eastern and Western communities of Riverside County
Program Year(s) 2003-2006
Riverside County Workforce Development Board (WDB) and the Economic Development Agency (EDA) seek proposals from qualified organizations interested in and capable of providing Career Assessment Services to WIA eligible individuals during the program years of July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2006. Proposals are being sought from public and private agencies that meet the qualifications as stated in the RFP within the guidelines of the WIA regulations.
Youth Employment & Training Services in Jurupa/Rubidoux areas of Riverside County
Program Years September 1, 2002 - June 30, 2004
The enactment of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) brings substantial change to how youth are served in the workforce development system. The intent of the legislation is to move away from one-time, short-term interventions, to a long-term comprehensive system of services that better prepares high-risk youth to make a successful transition to the workforce and continued education.
In response to the new legislation, the Riverside County Economic Development Agency (EDA), the Riverside County Workforce Development Board (WDB) and Youth Council (YC) established their system design to meet the regulations of WIA.
Mobile Workforce Development Center (MWDC)
(Design Build) Program Year 2002-2003
The Riverside County Economic Development Agency (EDA), in cooperation with the Riverside County Workforce Development Board (WDB), is requesting competitive bids from vendors in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP). Services are needed for designing, building and equipping one (1) Mobile Workforce Development Center in accordance with the general specifications outlined in this RFP.
